Logic and Meaning of Name Kaaria translates to "One Who Speaks Softly, but with Wisdom". His parents named their large cub this after noticing how quiet he was, the golden cub only speaking to ask questions or make observations.

Appearance~
Kaaria is a surprisingly large lion, but instead of the usual bulk expected of lions, the brunette is tall and lanky, with large paws. The so called ghost of the plains has a dark reddish brown mane, which, when fully grown, seems to engulf the young male. Kaaria's pelt goes from a dark, dusty brown across his back with a golden undertone, leading down to his white underbelly and paws. Along the right side of his body, he bears scars from crossing paths with violent lions, with his shoulder being scarred along with a portion of his muzzle.

Personality~
Kaaria is rather surprisingly a chill, mellow individual, content to go wherever the world takes him. He would rather talk than fight, although, he would do his best to protect any and all who would fall into his care. Kaaria is kind and gentle, especially when little ones are involved. Kari has a deep love for learning about his surroundings, and those around him, which has led him to sometimes pry into others lives a tad too much. This large boy is a bit oblivious to others feelings most of the time, but would work tirelessly to repair any damage he might have caused. More often than not, this lanky boy is lost in his own mind, leading to his gaining of the nickname ghost.To sum this boy up shortly, he is a dreamy lion who is lost in his own world and the pursuit of knowledge more often than he is grounded.

History~

Cubhood

Kaaria grew up, much like any other male cub, learning how to survive from his parents and pride, although they were rather strict with their "air-headed" son. Young Kaaria's intellect and curiosity was rewarded and fueled by the presence of his elderly grandfather, Havilah. The old male took the large cub under his paw, content with telling stories to the young lad, enjoying the spark of curiosity that he recognized, and remembered himself having years before he became a father, when he roamed about constantly. Kaaria was close with his more outgoing sister, Shani, content to go along with the little lioness's adventures and listen to her plans for the future.

Adolescence

Kaaria, like all male lions, left his pride upon reaching two years of age, and instead of immediately searching for a lioness, or someone to start a pride with, the young male drifted about the plains, adventuring and simply witnessing many things. While he wouldn't mind finding a mate, Kaaria is more content to see where the winds of life guide him. If that means that he would roam for the rest of his life, than so be it.

Current

Kaaria continues his trend of roaming about, occasionally falling in a group with another lion, but more often than not, he continues to explore and learn about the lands he lives in.
