Appearance~
A virtual giant, Rowanflight is a massive, broad shouldered tom who many believe would have been better off as a warrior. His pelt is a sandy color, although his underfur is a light cream color. Elegant, yet sharp tabby markings decorate his body in a warm brownish color. His eyes are a brilliant amber color, seeming to glow with the light of a fire within. However, scars absolutely litter this tom's body, as he is missing a greater half of his tail and his rear left paw. Notably across his right cheek are the tell-tell signs of claw marks. Recently however, the older tom has begun to show the sign of his age, as grey is steadily creeping into, and overtaking his lighter fur.

Personality~
Rowanflight is just about as unapproachable as he may seem. The tom is very well known for his biting sense of humor and his extremely sarcastic nature. He is a no-nonsense kind of tom, and will tire very quickly of someone showing out. That is, if that someone is not an apprentice or kit. The tom, despite how grumpy and abrasive he might seem, is a gentle soul at heart. He has an extreme soft spot for kits and young cats, and is known in his clan for his (grand)fatherly attitude. Despite being a barbed individual externally, Rowanflight is capable of being one of the most compassionate and kind toms out there, he will sit and listen to any to his clanmate's troubles and offer what advice he may. He also, like most elders, delights in telling stories, and is a whiz at calming down panicky patients with a well placed joke.

History~

Kithood

Rowankit spent his kithood in peace, being born with only one other littermate, a small tom with a slight breathing problem, Ashkit. Despite their parents believing the weaker tom would end up as the medicine cat's apprentice, the little tom prevailed thanks to his bigger brother's assistance.

Apprenticeship

Rowanpaw became an apprentice to the warrior Jaycall, and was well on his way to becomming a warrior in his own right. All this was suddenly shifted when Rowanpaw was subject to a fox attack. Thankfully, his mentor and other members of Heatherclan arrived in the nick of time and managed to drive the fox off. However, the damage had been done. Rowanpaw's tail and left hind paw had been brutally torn off by the fox, and he was condemned to the Medicine den for moons on end. Finally, if only just to do something, Rowanpaw began to start helping out in the medicine den, and both he and the medicine cat, Cedarbranch discovered the large tom had a knack for the art of healing. Within another moon, he was able to walk around perfectly well on the three paws he had left, and was promptly named Cedarbranch's apprentice.

Medicine Cat

Rownpaw quickly progressed to a state where Cedarbranch thought him ready, so one half moon, he received his Medicine Cat name; Rowanflight. The tom thought the irony of his name rather amusing, and has no qualms with it. Through the moons, he has served his clan faithfully, learning how to master his element and how to master the art of healing. Even as new elements emerged, and chaos occurs in the clans, Rowanflight remains the unfazed grandfatherly figure he is to his clan. A brief period of peace ran through the territories, only to be disrupted by the destruction of one of the new clans by his nephew, leading to the stirrings of the tides of war. As the chaos surges, Rowanflight is doing his best to train two medicine cats while keeping his clan healthy.
