VII. HISTORY

Alewar was a young colt/man when he met his future mate, a firey young mare/woman, one who challenged him in every way imaginable, one who made the quiet, peaceful male's blood boil at the same time she made it sing. Although their relationship was rocky at best, they did eventually end up as a couple, and when the time was right, they took over lead of their dwindling herd from his aging parents. Not long after their ascention to the leadership positions, they welcomed their first child into the world, a small boy by the name of Florian. From the first instance he held his son, Al was enraptured, and would do anything to protect his son, even go willingly into battle. Two winters later, his wife brought their second, and final, child into the world, the tiny little girl Finriel, and oh how Alewar fell hard and fast. Before she could even speak, the little girl had her father completely wrapped around her chubby little fingers. Alewar tended to stay home in the camp and tend to his two rambunctious children, forming an extremely strong bond with the two, so much so that his magic began to grow stronger when close to them. However, all that is good must come to an end, the hidden camp of the Unis was attacked by a large cult of demons, and in the ensuing strife, his wife ordered him to flee with their two children, after all, he knew the forest like no other, so surely he could hide the two away where the demons would not find them right?  Unfortunately not, after losing the smaller band of demons, his intent being to lead them away from the hiding spot his precious children were placed, he discovered Florian and the little Finriel were taken from their spot. Blood spilled onto the ground of the hollow, causing their father to fear for the worse. Already devastated by the loss of his children, when he returned to the site of the herd's camp, he found his wife's cooling corpse. In the course of a few hours, his life had been ripped to shreds. Years passed and the male scoured the world in an attempt to find any traces of his children, to no avail. But fate may smile upon him yet.
