What is Tales From Limbo?

 GENERAL INFORMATION

"Tales from Limbo" Is a personal project of mine that will either be the basis for a roleplay, a webcomic, or even a book, depending on how timing goes. Most likely however, it will be a Discord-based RP where people will be free to join, and have the plot going on with the characters I have created so far (Samar, Fin, Flora, Al. And the ones I haven't posted Profiles for; Okoya, Chel, Itsuki, and two 'taur characters that I haven't drawn references for yet.) Even if I do make it a discord based RP, then I will still be working on the story surrounding the two Unicorns as I go.  
II. The Setting and Other Lore Stuff
Now, what is the setting/the TLDR of Tales From Limbo? Well, I'll answer t hat for you. TfL is set in a fantasy world, or rather, city, Limbo. Think of it as modern day reality, but with added fantasy creatures with a twist. Limbo in and of itself, is a strange city, no one remembers quite how they ended up in Limbo, nor do they know exactly where on earth Limbo is, if it even is on earth for that matter. A good chunk of the portion is human, however, things that we, in our world, believe to be mythical beasts roam freely among the streets and alleyways. However, the individuals that are of a more... feral or animistic race have a human form in this world, with tell-tale signs of what they actually are. Examples of this would be the three unicorn characters still having their horns, their most prominent source of magic, or energy in general, while Okoya, a manticore, still retains her scorpion tail and wings. Samar, as an already humanoid creature is rather unchanged.

In the city of Limbo itself, a bit of a gang war is going on, between the forces of order, the Engels, and the forces of entropy, the Daemons. Yes, this is exactly what it sounds, Angels versus demons, however, the Engels are not all good, their side is that everything must be ordered, and stick to that order, that everything must be perfect, and that anything who dares to step out of that predestined order must be quelled. The Daemons are not much better, as they are agents of chaos, they seek to create as much mayhem as possible, to create as much pain and strife as they can. All of this is going on while keeping the general populace, magical beings and all, blind to their ministrations. 

Despite this underground war going on, many people live normal lives, and while there is still Xenophobia, Racism, and all the horrible things we have going on in our world, it is lessened due to the fact that there are literally creatures that can and will murder you if you so much as hint towards judging their ways of life.  



III. Main Characters
Most of the main cast has already been put up onto this site, with the two protagonists being the first two up, followed by their father, and a love interest for one of the siblings.
Without giving too much away, the main cast will involve the adopted parents of Fin and Flora, as well as both of the twin's love interests. Two other side characters will be rather influential, as they will be a means of revealing the twin's history to themselves and others. as well as a means of reuniting them with their lost father.

Each character will have their own arc, no matter how big or small, and will hopefully be developed in all their unique ways I have up in my head by the time I get this project really going.

IV. END GOAL
I Honestly never thought this would get beyond two doodles of humans with unicorn horns from like two years ago, and yet, here we are, I am developing an actual plot and story line for these random doodles that I've fallen in love with. As for right now, I'm still trying to figure out what to do with this world, and fleshing out the lore and whatnot as well, but for now,I am okay with just having this project to greet me and for me to work on it when I have the time for it.
